Hey SONshine!
I’m Chantel Bennett, the heart & hands behind SONshine Cleaning Co.
A bit about me;
I am a wife of 15 years to my very best friend, and Mama to 5 incredible kids who are my world! I have the cutest Mini Golden-Doodle, Watson and would love to have a mini farm one day with a horse, some cows (Esp a highland cow) and chickens!
In my free time I love to bake with my sourdough starter, read, binge watch my favorite shows on the couch with my hubby, bond laugh and make memories with my kids, and spend time at the beach with my family. Family is everything to me.
This business was born out of the hardest season of my life. In 2022, my oldest son, Wayden was tragically killed. There is no easy way to explain that kind of loss. Life stopped, but bills didn’t. My family still needed me, and I still needed a reason to get out of bed. Working with my hands, transforming space from chaos to calm, gave me something steady to hold onto. It helped me breathe again.
Our family eventually packed up our lives in Indiana and moved to Florida for a new beginning. What started as a way to stay afloat has grown into a business filled with purpose, pride, and a whole lot of heart. Sunshine, healing, and the chance to build something from the ground up with SONshine Cleaning Co. as a tribute of honor to my SONshine.
Today, I work as a solo cleaner. No rotating crews, no strangers, no confusion. Just me (and maybe one of my kiddos if they want to join me). When you welcome me into your home, you know exactly who is walking through the door. You get consistency, high standards, and someone who cares about the details. My clients tell me they can feel the difference when they walk in after a clean.
I am fully insured and committed to doing things the right way. My cleaning style is simple: dependable, honest, and thorough. I show up, I get the job done, and I genuinely enjoy making homes feel fresh, peaceful, and cared for.
Every home I clean is a little reminder that there is still light in the world. My son is my SONshine, and I carry him with me into every job. This business is more than income-it is a way to honor him while supporting my family and helping yours.
